New Delhi:Sharvari is known for films like Munjya, Vedaa, Maharaj and Bunty Aur Babli 2, but a home tour she did with Brut India on October 3, 2024, provided a quieter, more personal glimpse into her life. Her home is an extension of herself, where tradition and modern design merge in a comfortable way.
AdvertisementThe space has an easy, unforced charm. Open, light-filled interiors are paired with antique wooden pieces to create a grounded, yet current home. Nothing seems excessive. It doesn't look like it's been thrown together, but rather slowly, carefully built up.

The entrance leads into a large double living space, inspired by Indian interiors of the colonial era, but remaining simple and uncluttered. The space has a calm, airy feel with neutral walls, cream flooring and large windows letting in plenty of natural light. The furniture catches the eye, not because it is brash, but because it seems to have been carefully chosen over time.
At once the eye is caught by a swing hanging from one side of the room. It is made of dark wood and held by metal chains, giving it a familiar Indian touch, like the swings found in homes across Gujarat and parts of South India.
Floral and lattice carvings on the wooden armchairs in the room add texture without overwhelming the space. Sheer curtains that go all the way to the floor diffuse the sunlight to make it feel warm and lived-in.
It’s the little details that make it all come together. Vintage style clocks, wall art, lantern inspired lights, fresh flowers, antique mirrors and subtle decorative accents create a gentle old world feel to the room.
Dining and game room
The dining area is right off the living space, separated by a sliding glass divider. It’s a great way to add separation without breaking up the flow so that both spaces still feel connected. A little further in is a gaming zone, more minimal in design, which quietly contrasts with the traditional elements elsewhere in the house.
Terrace
Sharvari also gave the viewers a glimpse of the terrace and a staircase gallery decked up with framed movie dialogues of actors that she and her family admire.
The terrace is greened up with plants throughout and has a large seating area, making it perfect for relaxing outside. Up another terrace, open space, with seating, another easy, relaxed corner for the home.
